Sonal Shah Modisette brings a vast range of corporate and nonprofit experience to the Impact team.
Having spent the early years of her career working for technical bellwether corporations, Sonal moved into nonprofit leadership 7 years ago as the Operations Manager and then Interim Executive Director for Girls on the Run of Puget Sound. Her passion for nonprofit work centers on serving underrepresented communities and she served on the inaugural Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Access (IDEA) commission at her former organization. She brings this passion and enthusiasm to the Impact team and is honored to be part of an organization that empowers and supports electing Indians and South Asian Americans to public office.
Sonal is a daughter of immigrants and grew up in Atlanta, GA. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia as well as a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Colorado. Sonal and her husband live in Seattle, WA. They are proud parents of three adult children who have successful careers of their own.
