Ranak Patel
Operations and Events Manager
Ranak (she/her) is passionate about health and equity. She has advocated for the mental and physical health of underserved children and adults through her work in Baltimore, Maryland.
Most recently, Ranak was the project manager for fundraising and client events at Health Care for the Homeless, a health clinic in Baltimore, Maryland. She has also taught children in underserved communities, yoga to support them in healthy coping mechanisms and mentorship for the last five years.
Ranak also has a background in hotel operations, where she led a team of her own and assisted in development. She has a deep affection for building relationships which stems from her rich Gujarati culture.
Ranak has a BA in Sociology from University of Maryland, College Park and a Graduate Certificate in Entrepreneurship from American University’s Kogod Business School. She is also currently pursuing a Nonprofit certification in “Leadership, Organizing and Action” through Harvard’s Kennedy School.
She lives in Maryland with her husband, two human children, and one fur baby. Her hobbies include swimming, basking in nature, ample traveling and reading.
