With a background in community organizing and graphic design, Irfan is an advocate for language accessibility, especially for immigrant communities.
From coordinating COVID-19 vaccine clinics to organizing with AAPI youth affinity groups to providing civic education, Irfan has put on many hats of building community power. Before joining Impact, Irfan worked as a community organizer and coordinator with the Community Navigator Program at the Indo-American Center and a 2018-19 research fellow with Design for America. He holds a BA in Graphic Design and Anthropology from University of Cincinnati. Based in Chicago, Irfan enjoys cooking Bangladeshi food and skateboarding on Lake Shore Trail.
