Indian American Impact Fund Endorses Hetal Doshi for Attorney General of Colorado

Washington, DC — Today, the Indian American Impact Fund proudly endorses Hetal Doshi for Attorney General of Colorado, one of the most critical statewide races in 2026. If elected, Doshi would become the first South Asian to serve as Colorado’s Attorney General.

For nearly two decades, Hetal Doshi has built a career standing up for fairness and accountability in the justice system. As an Assistant U.S. Attorney in Colorado, she took on complex cases involving fraud, public corruption, and civil rights. Later, as Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Department of Justice’s Antitrust Division, she led major enforcement actions to protect consumers, workers, and small businesses, challenging corporate abuses that drove up grocery bills, inflated housing costs, and held down wages. In every role, Doshi has put people over powerful interests and delivered results for her community.

Chintan Patel, Executive Director of Indian American Impact Fund, released the following statement:

“We are proud to endorse Hetal Doshi because she is the proven fighter Coloradans need as their Attorney General. She has taken on fraud, corruption, and some of the biggest corporations in America to deliver results for everyday people. As a first-generation American and career public servant, Hetal embodies the values of integrity, fairness, and opportunity that the Indian American Impact Fund works every day to advance.

At a time when the rule of law and democracy itself are under attack, Hetal will be a fearless Attorney General who puts Colorado families first.”

Hetal Doshi added: “My parents left everything behind in India with the hope of building a better life in America. Every day, I am inspired and motivated by their sacrifices. But today more than ever, working families are falling further and further behind in pursuit of that same American Dream. That’s not because we aren’t working hard enough; it’s because those with power are rigging the system in their favor. That is why I am running for Attorney General: to keep our communities safe, ensure our economy is fair, and protect every Coloradan’s rights and dignity. The Indian American Impact Fund has been a national leader in building representation for our community and standing up for immigrant families like mine. I am deeply honored to have their endorsement and share their commitment to fighting for America’s highest ideals.”
